Carolyn and Travis originally met in Texas when they were visiting friends. He lived outside of DC and she lived up on Long Island. As they started dating and things got more serious, he moved up to New York City to join Carolyn. They moved near Gramercy Park – which is where Travis proposed!
You might remember their amazing engagement session up in New York City. We had a bit of rain during the session but we never could have imagined the weather on the wedding day. What started has a hot and humid day, quickly turned into a monsoon as we approached the ceremony time. Cody and her staff from Amore Events as well as the other vendors rushed to move things and transition over to the backup plan in the loft of the barn. Luckily the storm – which dumped an insane amount of rain – was short lived so we were able to still take most of their pictures outside, utilizing the beautiful scenery at Castle Hill Cider.
All of their friends and family had a blast. With Six Stylez band providing a great soundtrack, the dance floor was packed all night long! They wrapped up the night running through a sparkler exit before heading off on their honeymoon to Alaska!
Congratulations Carolyn and Travis!
