I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Megan and Aaron for a long time. My wife and I attended their July 4th cookout last year and even before that they were members of a community group we led through our church here in Charlottesville. It has been amazing getting to know these two personally and professionally.
From the first time we met them it was clear that they were meant for each other. They met through friends on a blind double date. The proposal came during a weekend Ski Trip to The Homestead Resort and was a complete surprise for the bride.
There aren’t too many Charlottesville weddings that take place during the winter due to the iffy weather. When you get married at King Family Vineyards they have a wonderfully diverse reception venue that can easily work for both a ceremony site and reception venue. Their gallery area serves as the perfect reception spot while the room is being transitioned from ceremony to reception. Megan and Aaron took advantage of the beautiful venue for their King Family Vineyards wedding. While it might have been in the 30’s outside, inside everyone was comfortable and excited. They got married in front of the stone fireplace before braving the cold to get a few photos outside. One highlight for everyone during the reception was the hot chocolate bar from The Local. The newlyweds danced the night away before heading through a sparkler exit to their honeymoon.
Congratulations Megan and Aaron! Thank you for letting us share in the beauty and capture the memories from your wedding day!
