Randi and Justin have such bubbly and energetic personalities. They spent their wedding day laughing, high-fiving and enjoying every moment. They originally met while living in the same neighborhood. One night Randi noticed him and went to introduce herself – the rest is history.
One day down in South Carolina, they planned a night in Charleston and then went on to meet her parents for a family vacation week. The week was going great – walks on the beach and cocktails by the pool. She said the only thing missing was “the fact that we had not yet found any sand dollars on the beach.” Since that beach in particular is known to have a lot of them they were a little frustrated that they hadn’t found one yet. Later in the week Justin grilled out for the entire family. Unknown to Randi, Justin had asked her parents for her hand in marriage. Later that evening, Justin was on the beach and found a sand dollar. He brought it to Randi’s room where she was reading and asked “Is this the sand dollar you’ve been looking for?”. With the ring and sand dollar together – caught by surprise – Randi of course said ‘YES!’
Randi and Justin were married on a warm day at Keswick Vineyards just outside of Charlottesville in Keswick, Virginia. They planned a classic equestrian themed wedding with nods to Virginia and Kentucky horse country. Randi was in a classic ivory gown and Justin was in a seersucker suit. They even had signature drinks for all of their guests – such as the mint-to-be julep! In lieu of cutting the cake they brought in an ice cream truck and did a “first bite” together.
